Experiencing the Japanese New Years

This years New Years event was held from December 31st to January 1st at the Izukougen lodgings. 63 exchange students participated and took part in event such as creating Mochi, writing their first calligraphy of the year and playing with cards. They also ate end of the year soba noodles and other traditional Japanese New Years cuisine. Board chairman Sato and school president Mitani also attended and they said a few warm words to the students. We believe this event to have become another fun page in the memories of the exchange students.
